Gangsta Boo’s Cause Of Death Believed To Be Drug Overdose

Three Six Mafia’s Gangsta Boo was found dead in Memphis on Sunday afternoon (January 1).
The 43-year-old had attended a concert with her brother on New Year’s Eve; he was taken to the hospital for an overdose but survived.
Gangsta Boo continued to party at her home. Authorities say the rapper was found around 4:00 p.m. with a fentanyl-laced substance on her at the time of death.
Gangsta Boo had appeared on Marriage Bootcamp with her boyfriend, Emmett Flores. Their room was found to have a "white powdery material" in it during an episode in May. Dr. Ish, the resident therapist, approached the pair, who denied it was cocaine. In a now-deleted Instagram post, she criticized Dr. Ish's professionalism.
