Oprah Winfrey is coming to Georgia to campaign for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. Oprah will hold two town halls and knock on doors to encourage voters to come out for Abrams on Thursday – just five days before the midterm elections, BuzzFeed News reported. “I am honored to have Oprah join me for uplifting and honest conversations with voters about the clear choice before us in this election and the boundless potential of Georgians,” Abrams said in a statement to BuzzFeed. Stacey Abrams, the Democratic nominee for governor of Georgia, would be the first black woman to be elected governor of any state if she wins in November.
