Remember when Da Brat made the tea for bashing a woman in the head with a liquor bottle back in 2007? The rapper was locked up serving a three-year sentence over the incident. Well, Da Brat now owes an extra $1 million in addition to her previous total of $6.4 million awarded.

A jury found the rapper liable and awarded Stevens a total of $6.4 million.Stevens recently filed docs in California to register the judgment in the state — the original lawsuit was in Georgia — and begin the process of collecting money from the rapper. By registering the judgment in California, Stevens can now go after Da Brat’s assets and property in the state.Because Da Brat hasn’t made a single payment to Stevens, the interest on the judgment totals $1,306,301.37 and brings the grand total now owed by the rapper to $7,806,736.37.
