Killer Mike was arrested by LAPD on Sunday night shortly after winning three Grammy Awards.
Variety reported that Mike was handcuffed and taken out of the building during the pre-telecast portion of the evening. A reporter on site managed to capture video of the moment Mike was escorted out of the building by law enforcement.
An LAPD spokesperson said late Sunday night that Mike was arrested for misdemeanor battery, and that he is in the process of being released. One arena worker claimed that charge stems from an altercation he got into with security, while another said the arrest had "nothing to do with the Grammys."
