The 40th anniversary of Michael Jackson's landmark album Thriller will be celebrated with a reissue on November 18th.
The biggest-selling album of all-time will repackaged as a two-CD set with a second disc of never-released tracks that Jackson worked on for the album.
And select retailers will have special editions:
At Walmart you will find an exclusive version of the original album with an alternate 40th anniversary cover, while Target will have an exclusive version of the original album with a commemorative Thriller 40 vinyl slip mat.
And Mobile Fidelity will offer the original Thriller album, mastered from the original analog master tapes, on 180-gram vinyl and strictly limited to 40,000 numbered copies, as well as a hybrid Super Audio CD.
This is the second time Thriller has been reissued -- the first time was in 2001 with four previously unreleased tracks. More than 100 million copies of Thriller have been sold worldwide.
