This is just sad and could make anyone mad. Last week, the Philadelphia police released a video of a 73-year-old man being attacked by kids. The man, James Lambert died from his injuries after being attacked with a traffic cone on June 24. In the video, you see the kids picking up the cone and hitting Lambert with the cone. He was just walking across the street when the attack happened What makes it worse is that there were about 7 kids with the age range from 10 to mid-teens. It was disgusting and troublesome to watch. These kids were out around 2:38 a.m. when it happened. You're thinking, "Where were the parents? Whey were they out at that time?" Well out of those kids, NBC 10 has reported that 2 of the kids have surrendered and they are 10 and 14-years-old. The 2 boys are brothers. Philly police released the video of the attack and are trying to reward $20,000 for information leading to arrests of the others. Detectives did not say how the brothers may have been involved in the beating in North Philadelphia shortly before 3 a.m. June 24. No charges were filed as of 4:45 p.m. Monday. But what I think irks me is what the lawyer said about the brothers. She said, "Do you remember when you snuck out the house." No ma'am, I do not remember sneaking out at that time of day. The lawyer had the nerve to say it was a sad situation but these are young kids and let them have their peace. What the hell? They didn't let Lambert have his peace as he was walking home and she can say that with no issue? Lambert's sister is urging the others to turn themselves in as well.
