Ol' Dirty Bastard's Widow is Coming After Wu-Tang Over Unpaid Royalties

Wu-Tang Clan member Ol' Dirty Bastard has been dead since 2004 but his widow is trying to get money from the group. Icelene Jones, who is over her late husband's estate, filed a lawsuit against Wu-Tang Clan Productions, which is an org she says ODB, Ghostface Killa, Raekwon and GZA signed a contract with in 1992. And with that contract, those members are entitled to half of all the music they release, according to TMZ. Jones claims that the agreement also obligated the company to pay ODB no less than 50% of net royalties from the exploitation of his image or likeness. Since his death, Jones said she hasn't received everything ODB was due, although, she did get about $130K back in July 2021 as well as a few payments over the years. So now, Jones is claiming breach of contract and is seeking no less than a million bucks in damages. I wonder what RZA has to say, especially since ODB's likeness was also a part of the Hulu's Wu-Tang Clan: An American Saga series.
