You have to love when hometown heroes give back to their communities to be called hometown heroes. Meek Mill, Kevin Hart and co-owner of the Sixers, Michael Rubin are teaming to give out $15 million to Philadelphia schools, according to TMZ. Meek and Michael announced the donation on Wednesday. The donation will go towards over 100 schools next year and about 5,000 students from underserved communities who are attending private and parochial schools. Oh this is a big deal! You know Meek already does so much for his community with his Christmas events, where this past holiday, he blessed kids with about $500,000 worth of gifts. So this donation is definitely a beautiful one.
