Will Smith and Warner Bros. Settle Lawsuit Over Richard Williams' Film

Venus and Serena Williams have definitely displayed black girl magic on the tennis courts for years and they have had years of training with that the help of their dad, Richard Williams. Their dad's life was about to be given some light in an upcoming movie with Will Smith portraying Richard. But there was an issue. Apparently, Richard promise the rights to his life to another company. A company bought the rights to his book about 3 years ago, according to Deadline. So when the company, TW3 Entertainment and Power Move Multi Media heard about Will's upcoming film, they filed a breach of contract against Will Smith, Warner Bros, Richard Williams and others over the movie "King Richard." Also according to Deadline, a settlement has been reached with the parties. Even though we're not sure the amount involved in the settlement, but Power Move and TW3 wants the courts to make sure they are paid up. So I guess we will see Will Smith on the big screen as "King Richard" is supposed to be released in 2021.
