CEO's, Actresses, Fashion Designers Get Caught in College Admissions Scam

Parents are supposed to love their kids and go to the mountains to make sure they are good right? Well some of those mountains stood a little too high for some people. According to TMZ, some CEO's, actresses and fashion designers have landed themselves in trouble for trying to cheat their way into some colleges on a huge college admissions scandal. There was a press conference today from the US Attorney's Office where we've learned some actresses like Felicity Huffman from "Desperate Housewives" show and another actress, Lori Loughlin and others paid bribes to get their kids into different schools like Yale, Georgetown, Stanford and others. Damn! Huffman has already been arrested and will be released on a signature bond. So how did they get caught? Authorities found a California businessman who ran an operation helping students get into their colleges and parents would pay the man. When we say pay, about 46 people have been charged in the scandal. Some parents had other people take their kids' SAT/ACT tests, or even faked athletic credentials. Even the founder of Mossimo clothing, Mossimo Giannulli, who is married to actress Loughlin, allegedly paid $500,000 to have their 2 girls designated as recruits for the crew team at USC and the girls didn't even participate in crew. He too was charged in the indictment. New York Times reported William Rick Singer is the owner of the company that was helping the kids get into schools. He has been charged with racketeering, money laundering, obstruction of justice and conspiracy to defraud the US.
