Kanye West Donates Money to Fire Relief

Well isn't Kanye West in the givings spirit lately. Just the other day, we told you how he decided to donate $150k to the family of murdered security guard, Jemel Roberson. Well, Kanye is helping out others as well. According to TMZ, Kanye has donated $500k to the California fire relief. A week ago, it was also noted that Kanye and Kim hired special firefighters to help keep their home safe from the wildfires as well as some neighbors in the area. Sources say Kim will appear on "Ellen" today, Wednesday, to tell the surprise about the donation. Word is, Kim tells Ellen that Kanye went to Adidas and his Yeezy brand to drum up relief funds, and they were quick to raise $500,000. Kim is said to present a $200,000 check to the California Community Foundation's Wildfire Relief Fund and a $200,000 check to the California Fire Foundation. TMZ even said she'll present a $100k check to a firefighter and his wife who are also on 'Ellen' Wednesday. That's a good look from the West family.
