A Film Producer is Looking to Have Idris Elba as James Bond

I need people to stop playing with my emotions about Idris Elba. For the past few years, we keep hearing his name in conversations about the next James Bond. If Idris were to get that role, he would be the first Black man to have the leading role in the franchise. That would be so dope right? Well according to the Daily Star UK, Bond film producer Barbara Broccoli told director Antoine Fuqua there needs to be some change when Daniel Craig, who currently stars as Bond, is done. And they are considering Idris. Look, I'm down for this change, too, but is Idris. Looking at his Twitter page, we're not sure if one of his tweets was in response to the Bond consideration, but he tweeted "Don't believe the hype."
