Jamie Foxx is a busy man. He's currently hosting the game show, Beat Shazam and he will be hosting this year's BET Awards. But as far as movies, it looks like he is about to get into some action with his new role as Spawn. According to Variety, Todd McFarlane, who created the original comic, is on board to write and direct the film. If you remember, Michael Jai White played Spawn back in 1997. But the crazy thing is, Jamie pitched the idea to nab the part about 5 years ago. Jamie met with McFarland to plant the seed about starring in a film adaptation of Spawn. This wouldn't be Jamie's first time appearing in a comic book film. Remember he played Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2?
