Just when we thought Meek Mill would probably get out of jail soon, a judge has denied his bid for a release. TMZ reports Judge Genece Brinkley, the same judge who allegedly has a personal beef with the rapper, said no to his bid to be released on bail, with no said reasons for doing so. Meek's lawyer says in spite of recommendations from the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office and being supported by Gov. Tom Wolf, Meek's lawyer believes the judge is supporting the corrupt cop who first arrested the rapper. Meanwhile, the judge says the 2-4 year sentence was because it was Meek's 5th probation violation and admitted drug use and failed to adhere to that travel protocol. Meek's team will continue to fight for his release.
