Dawn Staley is one of the most accomplished and successful athletes and now coaches in the history of Women’s Basketball. Born and raised in North Philadelphia on the block of 25th and Diamond, Staley was a prep All American at Dobbins Tech and a consensus first team All American at the University of Virginia. She was a first round pick of the Charlotte Sting of the WNBA and has won multiple Olympic Gold Medals as a player in 1992, 1996 and 2000, and most recently won Gold in the 2020 Olympics as Head Coach of the United States Women’s Basketball Team. After a stint as Head Coach at Temple, she now is the highest paid Head Coach in the history of Women’s Basketball at the University of South Carolina where she won a National Championship in 2018 and currently has the #1 ranked women’s basketball team in the Nation.
