How are Sixers fans feeling about Ben Simmons? Of course for months, we have been hearing that the basketball player didn't want to play for the Sixers anymore. The team didn't know if he would show up for practice and then Ben Simmons returned to the team. Is it awkward now that Ben is back? Well, he was at practice recently and as far Ben being in shape for the new season, coach, Doc Rivers said he is in decent shape. Now, the NBA season kicks off on Wednesday but the question is will Ben play? According to Liberty Ballers, Doc said he didn't know, yet. He told reporters, " I’m going to wait and see," and continued with, “Right now, I’m just trying to get him back comfortable and integrated. ... When he’s ready, he’ll play." But the team says Ben will be speaking today and I am sure many want to know what he has to say.
Update: Ben Simmons has been suspended for one game for conduct detrimental to the team, according to the team's announcement Tuesday. He will not be playing in the season opener for the Sixers on Wednesday. The announcement was made in a conference.
