34 year old, Michael Higgins, has allegedly placed his 4 month old in a clothes dryer and turned it on. Initially, the Manchester Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance at the home. The dispute between Higgins and his partner's incident didn't appear to get physically, however when authorities arrived, the undisclosed women told police that Higgins' put their infant daughter in the clothes dryer and turned it on. Thankfully, the mother was able to expeditiously stop the dryer and remove the baby, however, the infant as in the dryer for a few seconds. According to people.com, the child did not appear to be injured.
Although there was no proof of a physical altercation between the adults, Higgins was arrested on reckless conduct, endangering the welfare of child and criminal threatening charges.
The status of this case is still unresolved.
