Joyner Lucas Claims Karen Civil Stole Money, Meek Mill Blasts Her, Too

Things aren't looking so good for Karen Civil, a digital strategist. Her name is known in the industry and many celebrities have worked with her. However, some feel they were burned by Karen. Rapper Joyner Lucas is calling her out. He jumped on Twitter over the weekend saying that she took $60k from him as part of a digital marketing plan and doing nothing to boost his career. Joyner even said he tried to reach her when she was on vacation with the money he gave her. He said he was too afraid to speak up at the time, but he aired out a lot on Twitter. He said Karen ghosted him after he gave her the money. Rapper Cam'ron has basically been calling Karen out a while back, basically saying the same as Joyner. But it doesn't even end there. Philly's own Meek Mill is calling out Karen, too. Meek tweeted, "Karen was my friend and turned on me for [an] opportunity… Start having the blogs posting negative about me on some conspiracy s###. lol. I forgive her but I definitely don’t wanna deal with y’all industry people that move like that! You should admit what you did to me too." But he says he is over it, he just wanted her to acknowledge things. But wait, you thought that was all? With all of these things coming out, Karen Civil is now facing allegations of scamming a nonprofit organization in Haiti. A woman, Melissah Prato also tweeted and detailed how Karen allegedly deceived her and a nonprofit called Sow A Seed in 2014. Prato said Karen was brought in to be an ambassador for the organization yet attempted to “thoroughly profit” from its work in Haiti, according to Baller Alert, Prato said Karen was contacted to be an ambassador for Sow A Seed as it was planning to break ground on a playground and help a school in Croix-des-Bouquets. But instead of contributing an expected $41,000 to the project and promoting the organization, Civil allegedly exploited Sow A Seed and used photo ops to make it look like she was responsible for the nonprofit’s work on the playground. Karen told Baller Alert, The school they chose I thought was very amazing and we did a groundbreaking ceremony there to establish the park we planned to build.Unfortunately we could not come to an agreement on the name of the park and how it would be structured. Because we could not come to an agreement on the name and how it would be structured.Their organization put out a press release and unbeknownst prior to me on their Instagram stating we parted ways.So I put out a statement as well and decided to move forward with continuing with building the Live Civil playground at a different location.”
