Black TikTokers are Pissed Their Dances Get Stolen By White Users

Throughout this pandemic, everyone has been keeping busy and creative on social media. TikTok has definitely been busy with people creating dances to some of the most popular song. You know how you see all of these dance routines going viral to songs like Cardi's "Up" and more? Well a lot of Black creators on TikTok are boycotting. They feel like they are not getting love for the dances they create, only to have white users steal them and get the shine, according to Hip Hop Wired. Remember that time a young lady, Addison Rae was on the Jimmy Fallon show with the dances, and Black people were mad because she didn't even creates the dances? Take for instance, Megan Thee Stallion's song, "Thot Sh*t," TikTokkers have decided not to create a viral dance for that song, which you know would be popping. Instead of actual dance moves, Black users give the impression they’re about to bust out the choreography, but end up giving viewers the finger and walking off. And since the boycott has been going on, it seems like TikTok is looking a little dry. The crazy thing is that some of the white users don't get the protest is about them, because they ended up stealing that same protest, not realizing it's at them and missing the point. And then one Black creator decided to make a routine after all, and it was found, stolen, and not credited.
