Lil Jon Detained in Vietnam Over His Jewelry

Lil Jon was held up and detained trying to come back to the states. He was traveling from Vietnam. He has a show in Saigon and when he was at the airport, TSA stopped him. Apparently Lil Jon was held up all over his jewelry. It sounds crazy, right? Well Lil Jon posted, "Vietnam got me hemmed up over my iceeee smh," with a photo with airport officials going through his jewelry. According to TMZ, the rapper is a free man now after getting some help from the US Embassy. But the he also cleared up what happened. Lil Jon cleared up what exactly happened to him in Vietnam. He said he was detained for 6 hours over his jewelry because he didn't know he had to declare any jewelry he was bringing that exceeded $12,000 U.S. dollars. And you already know his jewelry was worth way more than that. Jon said the U.S. Embassy reps came to the airport and straightened the whole thing out for him after a sit-down with said government agents. He adds that the Vietnam government was willing to cut him loose with a warning, based on a good faith relationship with USA. But it's good to see there was a good ending from this mistake.
