'Real Housewives' Star Porsha Williams Welcomes Daughter Pilar Jhena!

Congratulations are in order for "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Porsha Williams! The reality television personality and fiance Dennis McKinley welcomed their first daughter Pilar Jhena McKinely into their family on Friday March 22nd, per PEOPLE.

Porsha's representative confirmed that baby Pilar was born at 1:36 PM EST weighing in at 6lbs., 15 oz., and measuring 20 inches long.

Porsha and Dennis thanked everyone for following along with her journey and described the birth as "magical."

What a time to be alive! Porsha and I are so happy and blessed to announce the arrival of our daughter, Baby PJ. We couldn’t have imagined a more magical moment! Can’t thank everyone enough for joining us on this journey-it’s been a fantastic journey.

While discovering she was pregnant brought feelings of excitement for the DISH Nation host, it also brought feelings of fear due to her history with miscarriage. She opened up to the publication about her rocky medical past with pregnancy.

When I found out I was pregnant, I was excited [but] I had mixed feelings. The other feeling that I had beside excitement was fear. I’ve had a miscarriage before in my past, which I’ve also been open about because I suffer with fibroids and had to have a myomectomythis...so just the fear of, ‘Is the baby going to be okay? Will I make it full term?’ All those questions that you ask if you’ve had a miscarriage before.

Just like for Porsha, Pilar is McKinley's first child as well. Williams shared the news of her pregnancy with Dennis on his birthday, which she said was hard to do because she had to wait after finding out herself.

Although it came as a surprise that they were expecting a child, the couple say it's only strengthened their relationship and familial bond.

The pregnancy came from the left, but it definitely has brought us closer together because you realize when it sets in that you are actually bringing a life to this world, that you have become family overnight. So now a lot of the things that we had talked about are a reality, and we work really hard at wanting to be a good couple and build a strong foundation for our new family that we’re going to have.
