- After some of Sabrina Peterson's defamation claims were rejected, T.I. and Tiny Harris requested a judge to grant them about $165,000 in damages. The Harrises, according to Radar Online, thought they were entitled to reimbursement for the money they spent fighting Peterson in court.
- Their lawyer team said, "The Harrises' request for $164,650.56 in attorneys' fees and costs is reasonable and in line with fee awards regularly affirmed in this district. Given the complexity of the legal issues, the time necessary to adjudicate Peterson's seven causes of action over a two-year period, and the additional costs of appeal, the amount requested should be awarded in full."
- T.I. and Tiny were sued for defamation in 2021 by Peterson, who had allegedly accused the rapper of holding a pistol to her head. An initial denial of the couple's move to dismiss the case was made. However, the Harrises' appeal resulted in a partial success.
- An appeals court earlier this year rejected a few of Peterson's complaints made against T.I. and Tiny. The judge approved Peterson's request to pursue her defamation and invasion of privacy allegations.
- Peterson reacted to the report and added, "The only thing that was dismissed is duplicate claims! I’m going to court."
