Benzino’s recent posts on social media have raised some eyebrows -- and we’re now learning that someone else might be behind the recent activity.
‘Zino became a trending topic mid-week when he appeared to mock his own daughter’s debut album sales, writing, “If @CoiLeray had a track with @IAmBenzino I woulda listened.” Then another Instagram Stories post featured a response to 50 Cent’s recent homophobic remarks. @IAmBenzino wrote, “So @50Cent wanna clown me for [effing] with the trans community? Somebody ask him why Power got gay as hell this season…” In a second post, she wrote, “Yo @50Cent I heard you watch all those Drew and Everett scenes back each week.”
‘Zino explained the situation on Wednesday night, when he claimed to be hacked. He explained, “I lost @IAmBenzino a year ago on IG. I lost 1.3 million followers. They must have shut my page down then put the name back out there… I been reported that page months ago on @Benzinos_Legendary which they just shut down days ago. @Benzino.Scott is what I’m using now… My legal team is about to go hammer time on anyone who has defamed my name and legacy. You [know] the Tasha K situation right? OK watch this. Have fun now, pay later. Oh yeah and why would I laugh t Coi? She’s one of the best things that I am. I am very proud of her and her accomplishments.”
