- In a fitting move for Women's History Month, singer Deborah Cox will become the first Black female artist inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
- In a press release, Deborah Cox said, "I feel incredibly grateful to experience this true milestone moment."
- Deborah has been in the music business since the age of 12 and has served as a backup singer for the likes of Celine Dion before landing her own deal in 1994.
- Her induction will take place at the 51st Juno Awards, on May 15 where she'll also perform.
