Ashanti has pivoted from music into the tech industry with a history-making deal. The singer has just become the first Black woman musician to become the co-founder of a Web3 platform. "I'm so ecstatic to be the first Black female Artist to be a partner and co-owner of such an amazing Web3 tech company," said Ashanti in a social media statement. The partnership seems perfect since Ashanti has been a big proponent of artists owning their music. The goal of the company EQ Exchange is to make sure artists have ownership of their music and open communication with fans.
