- If you have an annual Amazon Prime membership it's going to cost you a little more.
- Today it was announced that Amazon will be raising the price of its annual Prime membership by $20.
- The company says that the reason behind the price hike is "expanded Prime membership benefits" like Prime Video and expanded next-day shipping and the cost of workers and supplies in its network.
- Now for an annual subscription, the cost will go from $119 to $139 a year. A monthly subscription will go from $12.99 a month to $14.99 a month.
- This new price scale will begin on February 18 for new Prime members and on March 25 for existing members.
