Astrologist Convinces SZA to Unexpectedly Drop Three New Songs

SZA released three new songs on Soundcloud, initially, she was unnamed as the artist in connection with the release of “Nightbird,” “I Hate You,” and “Joni.”
SZA tweeted the links to the songs and captioned the tweet as “random thoughts.” In a follow-up tweet, SZA shared a conversation she had with her astrologer which inspired her to release the music.
The “CTRL” artist had contemplated giving fans new music via a “music dump” where SZA would unload 20 songs that were recorded over the past six years.
SZA has been vocal about her frustrations with her record label, TDE, and namely the label president, “Top Dawg” who hasn’t given the green light on releasing new music or details about her sophomore album.
