Biz Markie and Cool V Never Paid for ‘Just a Friend’

Biz Markie's DJ, Cool V recently revealed the duo have never seen royalties from their hit song, Just A Friend.
The duo performed the song for 31 years and made money from performing the song in concert but that's it.
Cool V said it was a combination of record royalties tied to Cold Chillin Records and a bad contract that saw them both get their royalties taken.
