‘The Chi’ Has Been Renewed

  • Showtime has renewed the popular series The Chi for a fifth season. 
  • News of the renewal came just a few hours after Sunday's season four finale.
  • Season four of the show dealt with community policing on The Southside and received consistently high ratings in its time slot. 
  • The Lena Waithe created and executive-produced series will come back for season five in 2022.
