Wendy Williams Dragged For Insensitive Report On TikTok Star Swavy's Murder

Wendy Williams is receiving backlash over her reporting of TikTok star, Matima 'Swavy' Miller's death.
He died Monday from a gunshot wound.
She surveyed the audience to ask if anyone had heard of him. The audience had not.
She admitted she had never heard of him. Wendy points out he had more followers on social media than she does.
It is not until the end, after she has elicited some laugher from the audience does she announce he has died.
Since the audience admitted they had not head of him, they were not aware he died.
Social media feels that in announcing his death she treated it like 'funny gossip.'
