- Former Tallahassee mayor, Florida gubernatorial candidate, and national political figure Andrew Gillum has identified himself as bisexual.
- The public revelation was revealed on Monday's Tamron Hall show. Gillium and his wife, R. Jai appeared on the program to talk about Andrew's quick tumble from grace. A year after he lost Florida's governor's race, Gillum was at the center of a controversy involving being caught naked and drunk with a male escort in a hotel room.
- On the show, Andrew said, "I don’t identify as gay. I identify as bisexual. I’ve never shared that publicly before.” The hotel incident forced Gillum to deal with issues with depression and alcohol.
- Mrs. Gillum told Hall that she knew of her husband's bisexuality before they were married. R. Jai said, "I just believe that love and sexuality exists on a spectrum. All I care about is what’s between us and what agreement we make.”
