‘Sanford and Son’ Actor Raymond Allen Actor Raymond Allen, who played Uncle Woody in Sanford and Son as well as Ned the Wino on Good Times has died. According to Allen’s family, he passed away in a long-term care facility in California, where he has lived since 2016. He died from respiratory issues, not COVID-related. Allen leaves behind two children. He was 91.
