- Cardi B joined forces with OWYN, a vegan-based nutrition company that offers protein shakes made of superfood greens- kale, spinach, and broccoli, vegan omega 3, as well as fiber.
- Cardi donated 20,000 shakes to New York hospital and ambulance staff.TMZ reports that Cardi“wanted to help the workers who, in most cases, don’t even get a chance to eat during their shifts.”
- OWYN, which stands for “Only What You Need” released a statement saying they had“joined forces with like-minded brands to unite in efforts to help charitable organizations that have been affected by COVID-19.”
- The nutrition company will donate two percent of their online sales to @foodallergy during April in order to give people access to allergen-friendly resources while the food supply deals with shortages.
