Black-ish creator Kenya Barris filed for divorce from his wife, Dr. Rania "Rainbow” Barris, after 20 years of marriage. According to The Blast, Barris filed for divorce on Friday in L.A. County, California. Dr. Barris is an anesthesiologist affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She also has an office in Encino, CA. It's unclear what caused the split between the two, who have been married since 1999. The couple has 6 children together. Barris serves as executive producer on Black-ish, as well as it’s spinoff show, Grown-ish. He recently signed a deal with Netflix reportedly worth upwards of $100 million dollars to produce exclusive content for the Internet streaming giant.
