Mary J. Blige is set to star in Starz's upcoming show "Power Book 2: Ghost," which serves as a spinoff to "Power." While on a press tour, Blige made the announcement alongside the show's creator Courtney Kemp and executive producer 50 Cent. “I’ve known so many Tashas, I’ve known so many Ghosts. I’ve dated so many Ghosts,” the “No More Drama” singer/songwriter said. “I’m a huge fan for life, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it.” Friday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, Starz announced it is splitting the 15-episode final season of Power into two parts, with the first 10 episodes airing weekly starting Aug. 25 and ending in November. The final season will resume with the last five episodes starting in early Jan. 2020.
