Juelz Santana is attempting to push back his sentence by a month! According to court docs obtained by The Blast, Juelz is requesting the current surrender date of January 30, 2019 be extended by a month. He is asking for permission to travel to Georgia next month to attend the filming of a Tyler Perry reunion. The docs state, “This event is connected to his participation in the television show ‘Love & Hip Hop.’ It is crucial to his professional career that he be able to participate, and it will provide closure for him as he embarks on his term of imprisonment.” The rapper is scheduled to report to jail on January 30, stemming from a March 2018 arrest where he was later indicted on two federal firearms charges after a .38 caliber was found in his luggage at Newark Liberty International Airport.
