Wanda Sykes tweeted that she is leaving ABC's Roseanne, on which she served as consulting producer, in the wake of Roseanne Barr's racist tweet, which described the Black former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett as a combination of the Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of the Apes. “Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj,” Barr wrote in a since-deleted tweet. Barr later apologized for “making a bad joke” and said she was going to leave Twitter. ABC canceled its hit sitcom "Roseanne" on Tuesday after, Roseanne Barr, went on a racist Twitter rant.
