Mariah Carey’s many collaborations with rap artists will be celebrated at the 2017 VH1 Hip Hop Honors. Mariah will be honored at the Sept. 17 taping, dubbed “Hip Hop Honors: The 90’s Game Changers,” at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, California. It will air Sept. 18. Throughout her legendary career, Mariah has released songs featuring some of the hip-hop game’s heavyweights, such as Jay Z, Busta Rhymes, Ol’ Dirty Bastard and Nas, just to name a few. Hosted by actress Regina Hall, the show will feature a performance by Missy Elliott. Comedian/actor Martin Lawrence will also be honored at this year’s show for his work in stand-up, movies, and television.
