- Questlove's Summer Of Soul (Or When The Revolution Could Not Be Televised) will debut as part of the U.S. Documentary Competition at the Festival.
- The documentary features performances from Nina Simone, Sly, and the Family Stone, B.B. King, and many more along with telling the story of the Harlem Cultural Festival.
- This year the Sundance Film Festival will be done digitally from January 28 through February 3. Tickets and passes go on sale on January 7.
