- Following the tenth anniversary of his Man On The Moon II album, Cudi was on Twitter talking about how he'd love to do a Verzuz and how he was a huge fan of the format.
- "I want Dot to do a Verzuz battle he's got a legendary discography," Cudi said in his post.
- When fans saw he mentioned "Dot" they immediately thought he meant K-Dot aka Kendrick Lamar, but upon further investigation, he was more than likely talking about Dot Da Genius.
