- Tyler Perry wants Black Floridians to get out and vote this Election Day.
- Teaming up with the Black-led nonpartisan group called Equal Ground Education Fund, Perry is putting up a half-million dollars to mobilize 250,000 Black voters in 25 of The Sunshine State's counties.
- Saying they want to bring "Souls to the Polls," the hope is to increase Black voter engagement and turnout.
- Several events will be held during the "Park & Praise" initiative, which includes hearing from church leaders, musical acts, and gospel choirs at locations where mail-in ballots can be dropped off.
