- Kelly’s lawyer tried for a second time to get the singer released from jail on bail.
- The first time Kelly’s lawyer tried to get him out due to the coronavirus pandemic.
- This time around he’s tried to get Kelly out following an inmate’s attack on Kelly last month, in which he says is proof that the federal jail cannot protect his client behind bars.
- However, for a second time, the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan denied bail to Kelly.
- Kelly remains in a federal jail in Chicago awaiting multiple trials on child pornography and other charges in three states.
