- NBA great Charles Barkley called out several celebrities, including Philadelphia Eagle DeSean Jackson, over recent anti-Semitic comments and actions in a video tweeted Friday by the NBA on TNT.
- Barkley began his video by saying “Listen, DeSean Jackson, Stephen Jackson, Nick Cannon, Ice Cube. Man, what the Hell are you all doing? Y’all want racial equality. I don’t understand how insulting another group helps our cause. We can’t allow Black people to be prejudiced. I’m so disappointed in these men. I don’t understand how you beat hatred with more hatred.”
- DeSean Jackson faced controversy after posting a quote attributed to Adolf Hitler on Instagram back in July. Stephen Jackson would defend the wide receiver, saying that he “spoke the truth”. The Eagles player later apologized for his actions.
- Stephen Jackson responded to Barkley’s video on Instagram, warning Barkley to “speak about what you know. I know what I said, so keep my name out of your mouth. However you feel... I honestly don’t give a f***.
