- According to the lawyer for the family of Rayshard Brooks, media mogul Tyler Perry will pay for the funeral.
- During a press conference, attorney Chris Stewart said,We do want to acknowledge and thank Tyler Perry, who we spoke with (and) who will be taking care of the funeral for the family.
- Brooks, 27, was killed Friday by Atlanta police, who responded to a call of him sleeping in his car at a Wendy’s drive-thru following a scuffle with police.
