- Dr. Kelly-Anne Perkins married Michael Gordon on Saturday at the Logan Hotel in Philadelphia.
- The hotel is located near the Art Museum (aka The Rocky Steps)
- The couple stepped out of the hotel and into the crowd of thousands who were rallying for justice for George Floyd.
- They were met with cheers.
- Dr. Kelly-Anne said, not only are we feeling the movement of the people but I'm meeting my husband on our wedding day as a strong Black man and a good representation of who we are as people...it was a very empowering moment.
- The couple did not have reception, they are waiting until 2021 to have one.
