- Either the Cleveland Cavaliers' Andre Drummond is sympathetic to the plight of restaurant workers during the coronavirus pandemic, or he really, really liked the service he got when eating at Florida's Che Restaurant on Sunday. The NBA center left his waitress a $1,000 tip.
- "It’s so amazing to see people displaying acts of kindness in these uncertain times," the unidentified waitress wrote on Instagram. The tip -- which Drummond left on a $160 check -- completely caught her off guard because she had "no idea" who the hoops star was until after he left. The waitress says she was "shaking and had tears of happiness after what he left me."
- The woman isn't the first Florida server to receive a monster tip from a pro athlete this month. Last week, former NFL star Chad Johnson left a $1,000 tip for a waitress in Broward County.
