- Media Mogul Tyler Perry is planning to reopen his Atlanta studios.
- Perry, who has multiple TV series airing, is looking to reopen his studio in June.
- In order to safely reopen the cast and crew would have to live on the premises after testing negative for COVID-19.
- However, Perry will only move forward with the plan with the approval from the CDC, Atlanta’s mayor, the union, insurance companies, and of course the cast.
- The plan would include taping shows 3 weeks at a time, so that the cast and crew would have time to go back and spend time with their families.
- Tyler Perry Studios is sprawled over 330 acres, with 19 historic homes. In addition, Perry would bring in portable hotels.
- Perry makes it clear that this is just a plan he’s pondering.
