- Jussie Smollett’s lawsuit against the city of Chicago has been thrown out by a federal judge.
- U.S. District Court Judge Virginia Kendall ruled that Smollett’s claim of “malicious prosecution” wouldn’t move forward unless he was found not guilty in his original case where he alleges he was the victim of a hate crime.
- Smollett continues to maintain his innocence and has been out on $10,000 bond.
