- It’s rare but Joe Budden had to apologize. Budden entertained the idea of battling Lloyd Banks in a “Verzuz” Instagram Live session saying he thought he could beat Fabolous and Banks in a 20 song for song battle but later backtracked his statement.
- "I don't think I'm beating Banks if he's adding G-Unit stuff,"Budden said. "I think I’d lose that." Podcast co-host, Rory said that Joe would lose by five if he went up against Banks.
- Budden then called up Banks to discuss the matter, the former G-Unit star said it would depend on what songs they battled with as he’s had many mixtapes, Rory then reminded Banks that Budden too had a couple of eras of music, however one of the eras was “sad.”
- “You could play Budden’s hit, “Pump It Up” twenty times and he’d still lose in a battle with Banks,” laughed Rory. Budden seemed amused by the jabs.
