- The number of coronavirus cases in Florida has taken an alarming jump over the past day, increasing to 314, health officials say.
- The new figure represents an increase of nearly 100 after 216 cases were confirmed on Tuesday. Over the past 24 hours, three Florida counties reported their first cases, bringing the total to 30 out of 67 counties.
- The two most infected counties are Broward and Miami-Dade, which have confirmed 80 and 76 cases, respectively. The county with the third-highest number of cases doesn't even come close to the first two. Palm Beach reports 19 cases.
